I find your articles very informative and throroughly enjoy reading every issue from page to page. Please rush me my first personal copy as soon as possible. I am also involved in Hungarian Scouting “Magyar Cserkész Szövetség”, could you have more frequent articles ‘about them too. Jó munkát, László Apáthy Englewood, Florida Dears Sirs, Enclosed is $20.00 to cover another year’s subscription to the magazine and a donation to the Eighth Tribe Foundation. My mother’s parents were born in Hungary and came to Youngstown, Ohio before World War I. My grandmother was born in Alsó-Fehér, Transylvania, and I therefore find your coverage of the situation there most interesting. I have written to the Rumanian archival authorities three times in the past year for a record of her birth, but have yet to receive a reply, this despite the fact that I wrote to them in the Rumanian language. My grandfather was born in Szabolcs province, now incorporated into the Soviet Ukraine. September I will travel from Budapest to Kiev by train and will pass within 20 miles of the village where he was born. I wish you the best in your efforts to preserve our heritage. Gary N. Deckant Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania The Eighth Tribe magazine’s importance has been acknowledged in many circles, but no magazine has a future without sufficient funds, which can only come from the subscribers. We ask our readers to get as many subscribers as they can. The usual Center Section is not in this issue—ed.
