July, 1978 THE EIGHTH TRIBE Page 11 ROBERT M. DUDASH The Lorain County Community College Board of Trustees in Ohio has announced its promotion of Robert M. Dudash to full profes­sor. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael C. Dudash of Oliver Drive, White Oak, Pa. Professor Dudash teaches Eng­lish and films study and has di­rected several plays at the college, including ‘"Hamlet.” He also chair­ed the committee that selected the new language department head of the school. The professor and his wife, the former Joyce Smith, are graduates of Oberlin College, reside in Ober­­lin and are the parents of Tawnya and Michael. The 39 year old professor and his wife both hold Masters degrees from Northwestern University and Oberlin College. JEFFREY C. BADO Jeffrey C. Bado, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bado of Buffollo, N. Y. was accepted to the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old West­­bury, N. Y. Jeff will spend the next four years studying medicine. A Cum Laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is also a graduate student at Roswell Park Memorial Institute, received his Master of Science Degreein the Spring of 1978. SÁNDOR EMERY CHOMOS Sándor Emery Chomos, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sándor E. Chomos of Greensburg, Pa., has completed studies toward his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Uni­versity of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has accepted a position at Union Electric, St. Louis, Missouri. RHONDA AHL CHOMOS Rhonda Ahl Chomos, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Donald Webster of Curtis, Nebraska and recent bride of Sándor Emery Chomos, graduated with distinction from Peru State College, Peru, Nebras­ka with a B. S. Degree in Business Education. STEPHEN T. TUBA Stephen T. Tuba, son of Dr. and Mrs. I. S. Tuba was graduated with Honors from Penn Hills Senior High School, June 10, 1978. Steve has been an active member of the American-Hungarian Scouting As­sociation for more than 10 years. His other activities have included participation in various commun­ity and professional musical groups and volunteer service in his school as a chemistry lab assistant and mathematics tutor. In recognition of academic performance in the top one-half of 1 percent of all students in the nation, Stephen has been declared a National Merit Scholar. He is also included in the National Honor Society, in Who’s Who Among American High School Students, and is a former recipient of the Carnegie-Mellon Department of Metallurgy and Materials Science Award. Stephen will continue his education this fall at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he plans to ma­jor in Chemical Engineering.
