AMERICAN HUNGARIAN FOUNDATION 177 SOMERSET STREET, NEW BRUNSWICK, NEW JERSEY 08903 TELEPHONE 846-5777 AREA CODE 201 FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS HUNGARIAN STUDIES PROGRAM LIBRARY AND MUSEUM RESEARCH STUDENT EXCHANGE OVERSEAS BOOK PROGRAM CULTURAL PROGRAMS I'm happy to serve as this year's national chairman of the American Hungarian Foundation's annual fund drive. Our 1976-77 goal is $200,000. What Hungarian immigrants, their sons, daughters, and descendants have given to the United States and the world is a heritage worth preserving. Leaders in medicine, science, engineering, and sports have had a great impact on society and their story deserves telling. Part of this year's support will be used to write a history of Hungarian immigrants in the United States and an important section will be devoted to the contributions of outstanding Hungarians in the world of sports. Naturally, this is close to my heart. In the 22-year history of the Foundation, over $350,000 in grants have been given to colleges and universities, students and scholars. We are proud of what we have done to help the future leaders of our country. WonTt you send your gift now to help the ’Foundation provide fellowships and scholarships to deserving students? Your support now will also help maintain the library, archives, and museum and your dollars will enable the Foundation to continue its programs of education, research, and culture all over the United States. What you do now to help us will mean a lot. Gifts of all sizes are welcome. Contributions from $25-$100, $500-$l,000, $2,500 and over will be needed. Third Decade of Development 1976 - 1985 Sincerely,
