It is our hope that this method of notification will help our readers ensure that their subscriptions stay current. * * * For the last two years we have sent complimentary copies to both Catholic and Protestant Hungarian Churches. With the increasing cost of printing and mailing this practice is no longer economically feasible. We ask the pastors and church officers to order at least one copy, by subscription, for each church. Of course, the group rate for churches is still available and you may send in $70.00 for every 10 subscriptions. * * * Each month we send out introductory copies to people who have never received the Eighth Tribe. If you are among those joining us for the first time, let me assure you it was sent with our compliments as our way of introducing you to the magazine. We hope you’ll join the Eighth Tribe family as we enter our third year of publiction. * * * The Eighth Tribe stands alone as the only monthly publication serving the American-Hungarian people with unique presentations of the past and current events. We believe that it is important, as our fraternal societies publish their magazines quarterly or more infrequently and the church papers gradually fade away, that we have at least one magazine to serve all American - Hungarians on a continuing basis. * * * We would like to hear from our readers to get their opinions and appraisal of the value of The Eighth Tribe.
