November, 1976 THE EIGHTH TRIBE Page 11 Letters to the Editor:— October 20, 1976 Dear Mr. Chomos and Staff: The day after Labor Day, on Tuesday of this year we visited the home for the aged and the home for orphans in Ligonier, Pa. At that time we also had the opportunity of touring the new building which now houses the Bethlen Press, Inc. We wish to express our thanks to you, Mr. Chomos, your wife and brother for taking the time from your busy routine to show us and explain the various operations involved in the production of The Eighth Tribe. It is an experience relatively few people get to see. All of you made our visit in Ligonier, Pa., a more informative one. Upon the above occasion you snapped a picture of my group which I am hereby enclosing. In closing may I emphasize to the readers and the future subscribers of The Eighth Tribe to lend your support financially as well as in a continuous effort to widen the readership of The Eighth Tribe. It is one of the effective medias engaged in the collection and dissemination of news of and for the Hungarians and their offspring. Realizing thai publishing it will be a great risk. But what business venture isn’t? Like which would be the best stock to buy on the Stock Market? A.T.T. or G.M. Both of them vary in price significantly. Both are outstanding. Yet a risk. I wouldn’t be discouraged because would-be subscribers don’t write. My experience with them tells me that it takes most of them all day to write a 5 minute letter. But I’m confident that many will buy the book. Like our records of Hungarian music and song; many buy records although few can sing or play instruments.
