CARDINAL HONORED

This larger-than-life statue of Hungary’s Cardinal Joseph Mindszenty is on the grounds of St. Ladislaus Church, New Brunswick, New Jersey, where the famed Roman Catholic churchman once preached. The 15-foot bronze statue by sculptor Ferenc Varga was commissioned by Father Julian Füzér, O.F.M., who organized the cardinaTs tour of the V. S. in 1974.
