Bethlen Home Members of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary of Fort Ligonier, Post #734 for their support and contributions for our Veteran residents this past holiday season. Roberta Burkhart for her donation of craft kit models for the Activity Department. The residents have really enjoyed putting them together. Members of the Byers Tosh American Legion Auxiliary of Ligonier, PA Unit #267 for their donation this past holiday season for our Veteran residents. Your gifts were greatly appreciated. Members of the Retired Teachers Association who provided the gift of flowers for our resident teachers. Pat Davis for her holiday bingo donation. Melinda Roberts for her gift of flowers. The flowers were just beautiful and have been used in bouquets throughout the facility. Holy Trinity's Kindergarten class for the beautiful hand-crafted Christmas cards provided to our residents. Emese and Zoltán Papp for their donation of stuffed animals and boxes for our residents. The animals were a hit at our bingo party. St. James Lutheran Church members who participated in the donation of gifts for our Presents for Patients this past year. The variety of gifts was greatly appreciated by our residents. Ligonier Valley Middle School Community Service Club for the wonderful cards sent to our residents during the holidays. Laurel Nursery of Latrobe, PA, for all the beautiful poinsettias throughout the facility and resident rooms., Joseph Shafron for the beautiful cane and shirts donated for our Presents for Patients this past year. The resident who received your hand-crafted cane just loved it. Helen Cosicejew for all of the beautiful crochet items sent to our residents this past holiday season. Anna Harbison for the wonderful stationery sets donated to Presents for Patients. They made great gifts! Edward Antonacci for the gift of music. The residents are really enjoying his cassette tapes of big band style music. Donna Stump for all the beautiful Christmas decorations donated this past year. They added a special touch to our display. Thank you for thinking of us. Dennis Clark for his recent donation of medical equipment to our therapy department. Thank you for thinking of us. Girls Scout troops of Ligonier, PA, for all the hard work and efforts that went into making the beautiful wreaths, which will be used for many holidays to come throughout our facility. Oakgrove Christian Church for sharing their gift of song through hall caroling. VFW Cootie Members of Ligonier, PA for the wonderful Christmas party provided for our residents. The fruit and visit from Santa were greatly appreciated. Derry Christian Academy for their gift of song during the holiday season. Scout Troop Pack #375 of Ligonier, PA, for sponsoring a holiday bingo and craft night. The residents enjoyed making homemade ornaments and loved the holiday bingo. To the families of former residents who attended our Memorial Service and donated ornaments to our memorial tree. Your ornament will bring fond memories of those who brought so much joy during their stay with us at Bethlen Home for many years to come. Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle Choir for the beautiful Christmas program performed for our residents. DaLona Leonard for the holiday treats for the activity staff. Who doesn't love chocolate? Deb Trzeciak and Scout Troop Pack #375 for their gift of song during the holiday season. Students and teachers of the IU class at Latrobe Elementary School for the wonderful play they put on for our residents. The costumes and the children were just wonderful. We look forward to having you visit again soon. Men's choir of Outside Inn who sang beautifly for our residents this past holiday season. Heritage United Methodist Church of Ligonier, PA, for the wonderful teddy bears distributed to the residents at Christmas. Everyone needs someone to hug! YMCA of Ligonier for the beautiful and creative Christmas cards the children made for our residents. Somerset School District for the beautiful wheelchair bags and lap robes sent to our residents this holiday season. They were greatly appreciated. The Csapó family for the holiday "goodies" given to the Activity Department. Your thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. The many families, friends and residents for all the candies, fruit baskets and cookies given to all the staff during the holiday season. Your kindness is appreciated. To all the Volunteers who helped wrap, distribute, fill out Christmas cards, and decorate the facility. Your hard work made our residents' holiday memorable. Ligonier Gardens Thank you to the students and teachers from the Valley School of Ligonier, Adopt-A-Grandparent Program, for coming in every month and spending time with the residents. The residents enjoy doing crafts, playing games, and getting to know their "grandchild". Thank you to Mrs. Ackerman and the students in the Interact Club at Ligonier Valley High School. The students help the residents once a month with a craft. This also gives the residents a chance to get to know the students. A very special thank you to Jim Trotz from Ligonier Physical Therapy. Jim instructs a therapy class once a week for the residents. He also entertains the residents with music and reading. We would like to thank Judy Armel for her recent donation of craft supplies, and the wonderful books she put together for the residents to look at. They are enjoying them very much.
