Recent News Activities Youth Camp Bethlen Communities welcomed participants from the Hungarian Reformed Youth Camp on July 26. After the welcome, our young guests enjoyed lunch hosted by the Bethlen Cultural Center. Following the picnic lunch, the campers sang songs and played carnival games with Bethlen Home residents. We are blessed to have this wonderful group of young people visit. See you next year! A Work of Art Sharon Boynton Keese sculpted and donated a beautiful bird bath to Bethlen Home's Friendship Cardens wing. Sharon is the daughter of Board Member Rita Boynton. Sharon graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art. She and her husband live with their 3 children in Omaha, NE, where she teaches Metal Sculpture at the Omaha Community College. Thank you for your donation. Residents Enjoy Outdoors Bethlen Home residents recently attended a barbecue lunch, located at the front entrance of the skilled nursing facility. The Texas BBQ was part of Western Week, organized by the Activity Department. Other events during the week included western games, live entertainment and a cowboy/cowgirl breakfast.
