Corning Highlights National Volunteer Recognition Week National Volunteer Recognition Week recognizes individuals for the hard work, time, talents and dedication they give throughout the year to their community, including organizations such as the Bethlen Home and Ligonier Gardens. When you visit the Bethlen Home you will often see Volunteers throughout the building assisting with a variety of activities. Many enjoy working in the gift shop and assisting with resident activities, such as parties and bingo. Their creative talents are often used when it comes to decorating the facility. Residents and staff appreciate their never-ending smiles. This year the Bethlen Home will be honoring their Volunteers during National Volunteer Recognition Week, April 23-April 29.
