Bethlen Cultural Program March winds have arrived...Spring will (hopefully) soon be here!! Although we usually focus on Hungarian customs, the Cultural Center Staff surprised residents of Ligonier Gardens, Cottages and Bethlen Home with Chinese New Year Luncheons last month. It is the year of the Dog and we celebrated with special appetizers prepared by staff. During the month of March we will focus on Hungarian events of 1848 with a special luncheon and program on March 15 in the Bethlen Home Linden Room. Also during the month we will sponsor a display of art work by our own resident artist, Mr. Csaba Kur. Mr. Kur's works are displayed in exhibits all over the United States, including the Capital in Washington D.C. We are very proud to show-case his works here at Bethlen Communities. April brings Easter, with its many traditions, and we continue to offer a wide variety of folk-art, egg-decorating and Hungarian Culinary classes to our residents and the public at large. Bethlen Communities, with the help of HRFA Branch 198, has started a new "Shoe Box" program. Once a month we are sending small packages overseas to the family members of Bethlen Communities' employees and Branch 198 members serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. For more information on this program and how you can be of support, please call the Cultural office at 724-238-2032. The month of May will not only bring "May Flowers" but also our annual May 1S1 festivities! *801--£0680 PN aOIMSNnaa M3N wot xoa o d HVN-iow r isnonv Aaa £68 14 2.1 ost oaw a3xiw«oinvwwwww.
