Jfrom tí)e JSurötng J|ome abmíntötrator Born in Sendi Japan some 48 years ago, son of a career Army NCO, I attended grade school in Taiwan. I graduated from Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School what seems like a long time ago. I played football as a wide receiver and linebacker and ran track - running the 220, 440 relay and 880 relay. I am a Penn State graduate with a BS degree in Health Planning and Administration. I have also worked over the years on a Masters in Business Administration. I have been in Licensed Nursing for some 23 years now, working for both non-profits and for profits. I have done consulting and have worked for government nursing homes. My last facility was as a management contract from UPMC Senior Living to the county facility in Cambria County, Laurel Crest Rehab and Specialty Care Center. Laurel Crest was a 552 bed facility with some 600 staff members. Personally, I am the father of two grrreat kids, Megan (23 years old) a junior at Pitt in Oakland and Jonathan (20 years old) a freshman at Penn State, Beaver. I love wild life photography and decorate my office with lots of my pictures. David W. Thomas When you stop by The Bethlen Home or have a free minute, stop by and let me know your opinion of my photography. I’m really looking forward to working with everyone as we move forward with the new building. THANK YOU, MOTHER If I had all of earth’s roses In one giant bouquet, Mother, they could never tell you The things I want to say. Your love has sustained me As a boy changed to a man; I often took you for granted But you seemed to understand. Your smile is always tender; Your voice is sweet and kind. The world is full of mothers, But none, as great as mine. I will always love you, For time and all of eternity. And I’ll forever be grateful For the mother God gave me!
