THE BETHLEN HOME-LIGONIER GARDENS SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS In May of this year, The Bethlen Nursing Home and the Ligonier Gardens Personal Care Home had the privilege of presenting $1000 Scholarships to Ms.. Kelly Lambie of Laurel Valley High School and Ms. Angela Finlayson of Ligonier Valley High School. These grants are the first two of what will become annual scholarships, given each spring to a graduating senior of both high schools. Applicants need to demonstrate an interest in a career in the larger field of medicine, as well as the need for financial assistance. Angela is enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown. She is interested in becoming a pediatrician. Kelly will attend St. Vincent College and is interested in becoming a doctor. Both young women are excellent students and were very much involved in extracurricular activities at their respective high schools. Congratulations Kelly and Angela!
