Ligonier Middle School Makes Donation: During the last several years the students and teachers of Ligonier Valley Middle School have made The Bethlen Home and Ligonier Gardens part of their Community Service Project. This year the students collected and donated over 10 boxes of "goodies" which included personal hygiene products, clothing, stationary, games and decorative items. The items were then distributed to the residents for their use and enjoyment. Needless to say, they were greatly appreciated. Heartfelt "Thanks" to the students and especially teachers Donna Lamonte and Dawn Greenawalt for their hard work and efforts put forth into making this project a great success. I volunteered here during my high school years and have many fond memories. I am excited to be back home and I am eager to continue to lead The Bethlen Home in the tradition of providing quality patient care to our community."
