^cttfrttg pttgífltgljta continued from front page... Christmas, we thank God for the many supporters and friends of The Bethlen Home, the Ligonier Gardens and the Retirement Community. We thank Him for the nearly 200 residents, who, in one facility or another, are entrusted to our care. We thank God for the nearly 200 exceptional staff members, through whom God's love is shared as they minister to our residents. We thank Him for the Board of Directors and the many volunteers who dedicate time and energy toward the welfare of our residents and toward the strength of our institution. And most of all, we thank God for His Son, Jesus, and through Jesus, for the Forgiveness of our sins and Everlasting Life! The residents, the staff and the Board of Directors join me in asking God to bless and be with all of The Bethlen Home's supporters and friends during this holiday season. May the Peace that Christ brings, known especially during this time of year, be carried into your new year of 2003. If you would like to remember The Bethlen Home with a gift at Christmas, please use the enclosed envelope. Unless your donation is otherwise designated, it will be placed in support of the Capital Campaign. A Joyous Thanksgiving and a Blessed Christmas to all! !\fÇ ÍaJ A (fc^LJfzß— Rev. Imre A. Bertalan, Executive Director Dear Rev. Imre Bertalan, We want to say "Thank You" for the most hospitable and cordial reception we received by your staff when we arrived in PA. The tour of your complex was exceptional, very informative and educational. The lunch that was served was excellent and out of this world (especially the chicken soup). Most of all it was a very enjoyable visit because of the great staff that you have working for you. They were all very knowledgeable and informed about everything and knew exactly what was going on, and very friendly. "Thank You Again" for a wonderful afternoon. Köszonettell és szeretettel, StdzdL— 4^ MEMORY WALK 2002 The Bethlen Home participated in another successful Walk benefiting The Alzheimer's Association. We won the trophy again this year for the team raising the most money. The Walkers this year were: Residents: Fay Armel, Rita Forsman, Betty Queer, Evelyn Cummings, Dolores Capp and Michael Pavlik; Staff: and Friends: Amy Baum, Janet and Ben Hoffer, Robbie Piper, Fran and Mark Will, Pat Burke, Tony McCurdy, Mario Battaglia, Anita Miller, Maria Ridinger, Mike, Nash and Wade Walker, Pam Worrell, Bud Carnahan, Melinda and Samantha Pletcher, Kathy Cams and Pat Armel. Felicia Wisner and Lori and Megan Gross donated but were unable to attend the Walk. Winning the Trophy is great, but it is not the reason why we participate. We do it to support the families, caregivers and those afflicted with the illness. LET'S HOPE AND PRAY THAT A CURE IS FOUND!
