Sctüritpingirtíabtö UPCOMING ATTRACTIONS During the months of November, December and January, the following programs are going to be held, along with the regularly scheduled programs. Residents and families will be able to review the weekly events posted on the bulletin board located near each Nursing Station and the Activity Room. Schedules in the newsletter are subject to change, due to scheduling of programs being done several months in advance. For your convenience, a monthly calendar and a monthly in-house newsletter are posted in each resident's room. Families are welcome to attend our activities. NOVEMBER HIGHLIGHTS Thursday, 2nd: Resident Council will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Dining Room. VFW Bingo will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Dining Room. Monday 27th through December 1st: The Activity Department will be needing help in decorating for the Holiday Season. Saturday, 4th: In honor of National Bread Making Day, a cooking class will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Activity Room. Today's feature will be fried bread dough. Tuesday, 7th: Today is Election Day...Join us for Presidential Trivia and How Well Do You Know Your Presidents' Game at 2:00 p.m. in the Solarium. Wednesday, 8th: Covenant Youth Group will be visiting and sponsoring an afternoon bingo at 3:30 p.m. in the Dining Room. Thursday, 9th: Med Care Clothing Apparel will be in the Dining Room from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with their winter selection of clothing. Saturday, 11th: Happy Veteran's Day! A salute to our Veteran Residents will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Solarium. Join us for a Patriotic Singalong and Social. Sunday, 12th: Lights of the Valley will perform their Thanksgiving Program at 3:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. DECEMBER HIGHLIGHTS Tuesday, 5th and Wednesday, 6th: What would the Holiday Season be without making Christmas Cookies. Join us in baking some of our holiday favorites in Cooking Class at 1:30 p.m. in the Activity Room. Thursday, 7th: The VFW will be having their Christmas Party this evening starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Dining Room. Join us for a fun evening of song and a surprise guest!! Sunday, 10th: The Lights of the Valley will perform their holiday program at 3:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Friday, 15th: The Resident Christmas Party will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Entertainment and refreshments will be provided. Saturday 16th: Holiday Bingo Pizza Party will be held in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Come and win some great holiday prizes. Wednesday, 15th: Join us in giving "Thanks" this Thanksgiving Season at the Harvest Church Service and Dinner at 11:00 a.m. in the Dining Room. Monday, 20th: Thanksgiving Party and entertainment will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Wednesday, 22nd: Join us for a Thanksgiving Social at 1:30 p.m. in the Dining Room. Thursday, 23rd: Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!! Sunday, 17th: A Hungarian Scout Troop from Washington, D.C. will be here to perform a holiday program at 2:30 p.m. in the Dining Room.
