&ctüutp?!tgí)ltgí)tö HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS Residents were kept busy throughout the month of December helping to prepare for the Holiday Season. Along with their regular scheduled programs, our residents enjoyed visits from local churches, schools and organizations who provided programs for them. "Thanks" to the members and wives of the VFW Kooties of Ligonier who held a Christmas party for our residents. The fruit baskets were greatly preciated by our residents, as as the visit from Santa. "Thanks" to the Derry Christian Academy for sharing their gift of song during their visit this Holiday Season. "Thanks" to Valley School for their Christmas Carol Sing-along and visits with our residents. "Thanks" to the Full Gospel Church of Ligonier for sharing their gift of song throughout our hallways this Holiday Season. "Thanks" to several local scout troops who visited and sang carols to our residents. "Thanks" to the Heritage Church and congregation for the beautiful teddy bears that were distributed during the Holiday Season to all of our residents. They brought a smile to everyone! "Thanks" to Ethel Silk and members of the First Church of Christ of Bolivar, PA for their holiday donation of crocheted slippers, ornaments, stuffed animal and colognes. Our residents appreciated your kindness in remembering them this Holiday Season. "Thanks" to all the students and teachers of Valley School of Ligonier for all their hard work, talent and effort put into making our holiday decorations that were displayed in our hallways and resident's rooms. You did a beautiful job and our residents, staff and visitors enjoyed seeing them on display. "Thanks" to the many families who brought in holiday goodies for our staff to enjoy. We appreciate your kindness in remembering us. The Staff extends a warm "WELCOME" to the following new residents and their families. We hope you will enjoy your stay here with us. "Thanks" to Holy Trinity School of Ligonier for putting on their holiday play for our residents. They enjoyed the costumes and Christmas cards you made for them. "Thanks" to Ligonier Middle School for their visits and hall caroling this Holiday Season. "Thanks" to several students from Kittanning Area Middle School who made the beautiful gingerbread house for our residents to enjoy. You did a wonderful job. "Thanks" for thinking of us.
