HAT'S OFF TO VOLUNTEERS

The Bethlen Home Administrative Staff and Activity Department recently honored their Volunteers during National Volunteer Recognition Week on Friday, April 14 with a luncheon and award ceremony.

This year's theme was "Hat's Off to Volunteers". The Dining Room and tables were decorated to go along with the theme.

Sixty Four Volunteers were recognized at the luncheon for their support, dedication and care that they have provided to our residents and home throughout the year.

Total Volunteer hours donated from in-house Volunteers were 2,266 1/2 hours over the past year. "Congratulations Volunteers" for a job well done!!

This year's "Volunteer of the Year" Award went to Helen Weller. She herself alone volunteered 211 1/ 2 hours this past year just to Bethlen Home. Helen remains active in various community groups around the area.

Volunteer Mario Battaglia, who also is known as "Babe" to the residents and staff, received the award for "Volunteer with Most Hours". This past year Mario donated over 1,360 hours. Thank you for all your hard work "Babe", you have been blessing to us.

May God continue to bless all of you for the many blessings that you have shared with so many over the years.

"Special Thanks" to the Dietary Department for the wonderful luncheon they provided for the Volunteers.

"Many Thanks" to Activity Staff member Cindy Carr for her creative writing skills for the Volunteer Luncheon.

"Many Thanks" to the Administrative Staff and Activity Department for making the luncheon a success. Your hard work was very much appreciated.
