APPRECIATION FATHER S DAY It's the little things in life that count, Which make it worth the while, The laughter of a little child, A loving mother's smile. A welcome mat outside the door, A few friends in for tea, Two chairs beside a fireplace That wait for you and me. One can't appraise the value Of the things we see each day We have to know and live them As we travel on life's way. Father should have recognition On this day, his day of days; Though he asks no fuss or favors, He deserves our words of praise. We should pause and pay him tribute. As his day once more draws near, For so often we neglect him In the days throughout the year. He's content to see his loved ones Have the things they want and need, But for his own wants and fancies, You will seldom hear him plead. The things we work the hardest for We cherish all the more. We search afar for happiness When it's just outside our door. He's the one who seldom whimpers When things do not go his way. But today he should be honored, For today is Father's Day. HBÎ1IH MOTHER LOVE A TRIBUTE TO FATHER You can't define a mother's love; It’s faith and hope and power. It's wisdom and unselfishness, Protection hour by hour. You can't define a mother's love: It's prayers, true and sincere, It's tenderness and sympathy, A smile, a dream, a tear. A father is a guiding light Sent to us from above. He listens to our sorrows And soothes them with his love. A father is a teacher Whose place no one could take, For he's the source from which We learn to think and navigate. You can't define a mother's love: It's faith that never grows dim. And through a mother's love is found The path that leads to Him. A father is a gift from God From which we learn to be Patient, strong and loving, Filled with integrity.
