The Home captured the first place trophy by raising the most money for the Laurel Mountain Chapter of the Association. Residents, staff and friends helped to make up the team which was known as Armel's Army. Several team members received prizes which were sponsored by local merchants. Participants also received shirts and other favors from the Alzheimer's Association and merchants. The trophy is proudly displayed in the Social Service Office.
