JANUARY CELEBRATES ACTIVITY PROFESSIONALS' WEEK National Activity Professionals' Week is celebrated January 17th through the 23rd. This celebration helps to make the public aware of the importance of Activity Professionals in Long Term Care, Senior Centers and Retirement Villages across the nation. The Activity Staff at Bethlen Home works hard at providing a wide variety of activities designed to fit each resident's needs. The Activity Department consists of six staff members. Each having their own unique talents and creativity to share with our residents. The rewards are never ending. A smile, a hug and a twinkle in one of our resident's eyes goes a long way. They look forward to our visits, and we look forward to being with them. A note of "Thanks" to Activity Staff members Roberta Burkhart, Florence Wood, Lisa Toth, Jean Sears and Cindy Carr for all their hard work and efforts put forth throughout the year to make our activity programs the success that they are.
