^ctííntg plígljítgljts MOTHER AND FATHER S DAY CELEBRATION A SUCCESS The Activity Department would like to take this opportunity to "Thank" the many family members that attended the festivities on their loved one's special day. We realize many of you rearranged your working schedules so that you could be here for the afternoon programs and luncheon. We hope to hold these same programs in the upcoming years. I know the feedback from the Residents was inspiring. Thank you again for your support. CALENDAR PARTY The Residents recently enjoyed an Afternoon Dessert Calendar Party sponsored by the Volunteers and the Activity Department. Each Volunteer's table was just beautiful, and you could see that the extra mile had been taken to make it a special afternoon. Each Volunteer made a special dessert that went with their month along with decorating their table and providing a door prize. Special "Thanks" to Volunteer Beth Gallo for entertaining us with her musical talent. Again, many "THANKS" Volunteers for all your hard work and efforts. The program was just beautiful. WELCOME LIGONIER BAPTIST CHURCH Every Tuesday afternoon since June you will find several smiling faces from Ligonier Baptist Church who come to our facility to visit one on one and read to our Residents. They have made many friends among the Residents, especially when Teresa brings her pet cat. The second Thursday of each month a larger group attends in the evening to have an old fashioned Hymn Sing with our Residents. Many members of the congregation are very talented. The Residents enjoy listening to the guitars. Keep up the great work!!
