Past PtgfyÜgfytö SUMMER ACTIVITIES Seems it was just yesterday when we were enjoying thegreat outdoors and summersunshine. I guess the saying holds true, that time seems to go faster when you get older. Some of the most enjoyable events held this summer were our cookouts, outings to the parks, and to the Gateway Clipper. But one of the most favored events was the Pig Roast held at the closing of summer. Residents and staff were encouraged to dress in an Island theme. Entertainment was also held for the festivities. HALLOWEEN Halloween is also a fun time here at the Home. We had several residents dress up for our Halloween Party this year, as well as staff members. Special “Thanks” to residents Ethel Kozenko, Susan Wargo, Helen Paul and Edie Woods for dressing up. You were all winners in my book!! Resident Susan Wargo salutes the Statue of Liberty. "Howdy!”, says resident Edie Woods, who salutes one of her favorite country stars, Minnie Pearl. Resident Ethel Kozenko says she was the wicked witch of the west. More like the "sweetest"! Resident Helen Paul clowning around!
