SctiWtp Jjfofjlfoljtí Up To Date In Style When you walk into Bethlen Home you will notice the new look at the nurse's stations. Each nurses station has totally been remodeled. The first floor is done in a beautiful pink and mauve. The second floor is in shades of blue. A superb job was done by our own maintenance men Scott Palmer, Leslie Kastel and Árpád Kastel. Pictured is an overall view of 2nd floor Nursing Station. Pictured from left to right our top notch maintenance guys. Scott Palmer and Laci Kastel. Missing from photo is Árpád Kastel. Yes guys you certainly can be proud of a job well done! Cfjapfains Cotror By: Rev. Joseph Posta Dear Residents and Friends, In keeping with the Advent theme of "high hopes" and "great expectations," the Prophet Isaiah joyfully announces: "The Lord has sent me to bring glad tidings to the lowly, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release the prisoners ... I rejoice heartily in the Lord ..." This is the season when, in the same spirit of "high hopes" and "great expectations," little children wonderfully sum it all up in three little words: "CHRISTMAS IS COMING!" Joy to the World! Peace on Earth, Goodwill toward men! Christmas - a symbol of our "high hopes" and "great expectations" for life's fulfillment and happiness. Yes, our happiness is God’s concern. Our concern is to do God's will as Paul's words state... "• Encourage one another and build each other up • Respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord • Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work • Live in peace with each other • Warn those who are idle • Encourage the timid • Help the weak • Be patient with everyone • Make sure that nobody pays back wrong with wrong • Always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else • BE JOYFUL ALWAYS!" 1 Thessalonians 5: 11-16 If we do these things, the Advent spirit of "high hopes" and "great expectations" will dominate our lives. Our very lives will proclaim the coming of Him who brings light to the world, and those three little words: "CHRISTMAS IS COMING," will bring that glimpse of the divine life, that little bit of heaven, right into our hearts. Christmas greetings and best wishes for a New Year of happiness from the newly elected chaplain and his family. May God's blessing be with each and everyone of you now and in the coming year.
