4* JUNE • JULY • AUGUST, 1992 P.O. Box 657, Ligonier, PA 15658-0657 VOLUNTEERS OFFER SERVICE OF 3,500 HOURS DURING 1992 Recently, the Activity Department and Bethlen Home honored their volunteers with a special luncheon and award presentation program during National Volunteer Recognition Week. This year, volunteers dedicated theirtime and talents to the home and residents, serving over 3,500 hours. You truly are to be commended for your love and dedication to our home. This year’s Volunteer of the Year was four special ladies who live in Greensburg, PA. Congratulations to Donna Brown, Ann Lipicky, Lois Neiderheiser and Connie Hall for a job well done. This year’s theme was Volunteers, Come Rain or Shine. Volunteers were also presented with a special Volunteer umbrella. This also set well with the theme. The day was also especially ordered. Naturally, it rained. Special Thanks to the Dietary Department and Mrs. Kovács for a delicious lunch. The volunteers raved about it. I will be looking forward to working with you another year in making all our hard work and efforts count. VOLUNTEERS, THEY’RE THE GREATEST!!!
