ScttWtp 2)íjjlilíglits Spring Highlights What would Easter be without the traditions of coloring eggs and hunting them? No matter how old we are this tradition always seems to come to heart. The Activity Department held their annual Easter egg hunt outdoors this year on the first floor patio. Fifty eggs were hidden along with special plant prizes, candy and balloons. Everyone seemed to have a great time. There were a few anxious ones who had a head start and snuck out the back door but they were soon to be caught. Afterwards the residents enjoyed refreshments and special treats to celebrate the holiday. The residents also did a beautiful job at coloring eggs this year. The colors seemed to be so brilliant. The eggs were then used for display in the ceramic baskets that the residents made in ceramic class to be used for center pieces in the dining room. Resident Olga Szuch mostly enjoyed eating the eggs. Thanks Olga for being our sampler! Who are those bunnies? Rumor has it that they're the Easter Bunny's helpers. Here are several pictures from the Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Coloring Day.
