MAY Sctitótp ï)igl)lig()ts UPCOMING EVENTS Residents, be sure to watch out for the following special events to be happening during the next few months. Details will be posted on the bulletin boards located by the nurse's stations. MARCH A new local clothing company entitled Personal Touch Clothing will be bringing a small display of clothing for your shopping pleasure. This display will be held in the solarium. Germany United Methodist Church Youth Group will be providing a hymn sing. A special luncheon in honor of St. Patrick will be held along with special entertainment that evening provided by the McCartys. Hungarian Freedom Fight Day is celebrated on March 15th. A special Hungarian Luncheon will be held along with a special service from Rev. Zoltán Kovács. A special St. Patrick's Day Party will be held on the 16th. Special surprises are in the making. This party is sponsored by the Ligonier Women's Club. The spring craft show will be held on Friday, March 29 and Saturday the 30th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Spring, Mothers Day and Easter crafts will be available. APRIL Sunshine Brothers Clothing Wagon will be here with their large selection of Spring clothing geared to the nursing home resident. A Family Day will be held with special entertainment provided by the Laurel Valley Senior Citizen Band. National Volunteer Recognition Week and a special luncheon and award presentation will be held for our volunteers. Special entertainment will be provided by a local story teller. Special surprises will be held during the Easter Season. A special Mother's Day Tea will be held for our ladies. Bethlen Home will celebrate Memorial Day by having their first picnic of the season. Credible Professionals Doing Incredible Jobs. 1ST ANNUAL SPRING CRAFT SHOW Believe it or not after our annual Fall fundraiser, residents were ready to start working towards another. The activity department thought it would be fun to hold a Spring Craft show featuring Spring, Easter and Mother's Day items. The residents and volunteers have been working on a wide variety of items from woodwork, basketry, ceramics, wreaths, etc. The craft show will be held on Friday, March 30th and Saturday, March 31st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. The public is welcome and proceeds will benefit the Resident Activity Fund. Lunch along with special desserts will be featured. Donations of Spring craft items are welcome.
