Special í2ceös (continued) Dear Friends. The Bethlen Home will be celebrating their 12th annual Bazaar Fundraiser on the first weekend in November. Saturday. November 3rd and Sunday, November 4th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Proceeds benefit the Resident Activity Fund. The fund helps to provide quality programming throughout the year such as entertainment, parties, ceramics, decorations, craft supplies, etc. This year's Bazaar theme is "Country Christmas". Many of the residents, volunteers and family members have already started working towards this worthy cause. Handcrafts, quilting, hot lunches, bake goods, homemade candles, raffles, door prizes, woodwork, flea market, Christmas items and baby items, are among the few things that will be available at our Bazaar. In order for our Bazaar to be a success, we need donations of flea market items, bake goods, crafts, etc. Please contact Sherry for further information. Cash donations are also welcomed. We have appreciated your support in the past years and hope that your support will continue in years to come. We will be looking forward to seeing you at our Bazaar!! Sincerely, Sherry A. He said that at my age I should be thinking about the life hereafter. While we prayed I told him, "Oh I do think of the life hereafter". All the time....no matter where I am, in the solarium, activity room, gift shop, etc. I constantly ask myself "What am I here after!!!!!! Piet wed: Reverend Zoltán Kovács visiting resident Sophia Toth, to spread the word of God as he does to all our residents. THANKSGIVING "In everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving." Philippians 4:6 Our Father, we give Thanks to Thee for the blessings that come to us during all the days of the year. We thank thee for the joys that brighten our lives and the sorrows that discipline our spirits. We thank thee for the friends who have helped us and bear the burdens of life, and whose faith in us has spurred us on to harder efforts and higher purpose. We thank thee for the kind ministries of the church for the opportunities of service to others that the church offers. We thank thee most of all for Jesus, our Master and Lord, whose gentle spirit has led captive or rebellious spirits, and whose gospel is our strong hope for time and eternity. In his name. Amen. DRAMATICS While visiting resident Rita Frank we enjoyed discussing old films and plays. Rita reminisced about playing the role of "Bloody Mary" in South Pacific and also how she directed many community plays here at the Ligonier Playhouse. Maybe Rita would consider directing a one act comedy for us eager Thespians at Bethlen Home......Who knows maybe we have another Clark Gable or Betty Davis hiding among our residents!!!
