While Bertha reminisces of those days, she also acts as our "Mrs. Go-To-See". GIFT SHOP NEWS INDEPENDENCE DAY "He doeth according to his will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. "Daniel 4:35" Our Father in heaven, as the season has come again for the celebration of our National Birthday, may we remember and meditate upon the words of Scripture that declare: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Turn the hearts of the leaders of our nation, as well as the hearts of individual citizens, to Thee who doest thy will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of earth. May the church of Christ ever stand as a lighthouse among the nations of the earth. We pray Thee to dispel the darkness that has grown very dense in the world, and bring to us all a new hope of peace on earth good will to men. In Jesus name. Amen New items are always available in the gift shop located on the second floor. Floral arrangements are available as well as a wide variety of gift ideas. Olga's slogan is "We are always ready to serve you". MRS. GREEN THUMB You can always find resident, Elizabeth Toth, talking to the plants here at the Home. She constantly gives them loving care. She takes care of the indoor plants as well as planting seasonal flowers for our patio. Many residents also give their plants to Elizabeth, especially if they require an extra special touch, till the plants are back on their feet.
