Well... It’s because the weatherman began to talk about snow in our back yards and also because it is time once again to sponsor some Christmas charities. I specifically think about Operation Christmas Child so it is “Shoe Box Time” at our Branch. As soon as our members heard the invitation to participate in this project, they went shopping. It just warms the heart to see them showing and talking about a special item they bought for a little girl or boy. The happiness and the satisfaction in our hearts is proof that as we gift and bless a little one somewhere around the world, so are we gifted and blessed as well. Christmas blessings and warm fraternal greetings to all of our members. Katalin Varga, Branch Manager Branch 151 — Beaver Falls, PA Operation Christmas Child October 29, 2010 Our children in our branch filled some boxes for the children in far away countries. We provided the funds to buy the gifts for the children and gave from our hearts. The children were willing to give even from their own gifts that they received which is really touching. Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through simple, gift-filled shoe boxes and the good news of God’s love. With thirty shoe boxes, our hearts were happy to see that other little ones will be blessed. After putting together the boxes, we showed the video of children from last year receiving the boxes. Later in the evening, we had refreshments, goodies and beverages. Grade and Haylee Fleishman 12
