BRANCH NEWS church and recently, I became the director of our church’s Bell Choir! I have sung in the Michigan Honors choir. I recently made the High School level regional honors choir, and I am auditioning for State. In December, 1 will sing in the back-up choir for Point Of Grace at their Christmas concert. 1 just finished playing my third season of High School Marching Band; I play the Xylophone in the pit. When I play with wind ensemble, I play the Oboe. In school, 1 take both Band and Choir classes. I am currently working on getting my driver’s license. I love to read books, mostly fiction, and I write poetry for fun. I like movies, especially Pirates of the Caribbean, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the Chronicles of Narnia series. Give me a movie with a great score (soundtrack) any day! At school, I was just inducted into the National Honor Society. Also, I am involved in Student Council at my school. I am chairperson of the Student/Teacher Appreciation committee. I take advance placement courses. My dream is to go to college and major in music. I am very proud of my Hungarian background and that I am a third generation HRFA member in our family. Even though my parents’ families hail from different countries in Europe, they were both raised in the Reformed Faith, something I professed when I came to faith and was confirmed in our Church. 1 have been a member of my church since 2005. NEW MEMBER Stephen Nagy Stephen Nagy, son of Frank and Mary Nagy, grandson of Margaret J. Nagy, a long time member of Branch 35, is a ninth grader at Davis Junior High in the Utica School system.
