Hungarian sausages and making a vocal contribution in the choir. Hungarian heritage is something of much importance to me. Having visited the beautiful country multiple times, it has become easier to understand the beauty and enriching diversity. My dedicated grandfather, Tibor Nagy has been influential in my membership with the Hungarian Church and Federation, and for that, I am very thankful. Through the support of my friends and family, I am following my dream of becoming a Doctor of Psychology with a minor concentration in music and business. I am also an active participant in the SVSU Choir and Band Ensemble and engage in volunteer activities in my city of Frankenmuth, Ml. With the strength of God, love of family, and faith in the Hungarian community, 1 am looking forward to grow in the fellowship and accomplish all my dreams. Natalie was recommended by former Director Tibor Nagy Nicholas, member of Branch 227: I am very grateful to the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America for offering the financial aid to me. I would like to thank my grandparents for helping me to keep my Hungarian heritage. My grandfather, Bill Nicholas, is serving on the Board of Directors of the HRFA, and my grandmother, Marge Nicholas, is the Branch Manager of Branch 227, Warren. 1 have many fond memories of helping and working at many church functions, projects, and activities through the HRFA, including attending church camps and Bible seminars. 1 took much pride in the programs to help our veterans at the VA hospital and also the needy people in the Appalachian region. Presently, I am attending Kent State University, located in Kent, Ohio, as a sophomore, and plan to become a high school social studies teacher following in my grandfather’s footsteps. In addition to going to school full time, I am working at the Dining Services on the campus to help pay for my college tuitions. Thank you for your help in furthering my education. Because of my love of children, I’m looking forward to the day when I become a teacher. Nicole was recommended by Director William Nicholas stay involved in TCNJ’s pen pal program, corresponding with under-privileged children in the Trenton area. Furthermore, my experiences as the Valedictorian of the South Plainfield High School Class of 2005 and a three-year high school varsity cross-country and track captain has provided me with motivation to maintain a strong work ethic and leadership skills. With those achievements, I earned both the GMC and the NJSIAA Scholar Athlete Awards, the Edward J. Bloustein Scholarship, the South Plainfield Education Association Scholarship, and an academic scholarship to TCNJ. I am highly involved with TCNJ’s Club Softball team, on which I also act as an assistant to our Treasurer. In addition, I am the Stream Walking Coordinator of Water Watch, organizing and conducting on-campus and off-campus water testing. I also practice with TCNJ’s Roadrunner’s Club, play intramural softball and volleyball, and attend events hosted by TCNJ’s Catholic Campus Ministry. Moreover, I have been named to the Dean’s List each semester and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.959. My participation in all of these events contributes to my well-being and my success throughout my college learning experience. In closing, I would like to graciously thank the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America for granting me this scholarship, and I would especially like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Michael Paul I for their recommendation. It is truly an honor to receive this scholarship for the further advancement of my education.
