Fraternity-Testvériség, 2006 (84. évfolyam, 1-4. szám)

2006-07-01 / 3. szám

With the live music and the professional teaching of the Tisza Ensemble, this event left an indelible impression on people and the history of the HRFA Kossuth House. The Tisza Ensemble has been teaching and performing Hungarian folk dances for more than 24 years. The leaders of Tisza teach in the 'táncház' improvisational style they learned while living in Hungary. They were invited to be judges at the 2005 North American "Pontozo", an international Hungarian folk dance competition.’ Because of the great success of the first event, we could arrange the 2nd Táncház in the HRFA Kossuth House on October 14th. The Kossuth House (our home office) is an excellent center for keeping our traditions and culture alive. If you are in the Washington DC area, please come and join us at the future Táncház events and listen to wonderful Hungarian Folk Music and see breathtaking dance steps.
