Page 22 Fraternity- Testvériség came later in the day. However, as a meager consolation, the drinks lasted throughout the day. The picnic was profitable, as far as our clubs coffers went. There was a raffle and some great raffle prizes like complimentary hotel stays at two Marriott hotels. The music that was provided with our equipment was made even better with wonderful tapes from Zoli Karácsony this year. So our expenses were limited. We had great help from our members, who worked very hard in the groundwork of preparing the palatable Hungarian dishes, as well as serving the food and drinks. Special thanks to Holy Trinity Church and Father Skerl who -as always- lent us his helping hand and their kithchen. The local newspaper reporter came and spoke with the visitors and organizers. Among those interviewed by the media was one of our members, the 85 year-old Mrs. Marika Körömi, who inspite of her age does more than her share. Of course, thanks to all of our members who helped to make our picnic successful; their work was very important and greatly appreciated.
