On March 11 and 12, we made and sold Hungarian sausage to raise funds for the fraternal missions of this calendar year. Our branch has several ongoing projects. We have been sponsoring Brayan Lema, a 7-year old boy from Ecuador, jointly with the Covenant Presbyterian Church. The offering during the 12 months provides a daily hot meal, basic medical care, new shoes and clothing for Brayan. Also, we have been collecting food items and clothes throughout the year and donating them regularly to the Warren Rescue Mission. From January through March, Director Bill Nicholas organized and ran a basketball Program for 4-5-6 graders at World of Life Christian Academy. Branch Manager Marge Nicholas assisted with the girls’ team. Many thanks to Ron Froats, who helped with the group of 28 children. Bill Nicholas has coached for 30 years, and at the age of 74 he is still coaching. God bless him for his passionate, selfless work!
