Page 18 TESTVÉRISÉG ing Secretary Helen Sontra both resigned due to health reasons. It was moved and seconded and accepted to combine these offices into one. We thanked both Mrs. Sontra and Mr. Singola for their many years of dedicated service to our branch. Newly elected officers were: Ernest P. Virgulák, President; Joseph Lucskay, Vice President; and Elaine Zakhar, Secretary-Treasurer. In 2001 and 2002, the collection of food has been an on-going project of our branch members and the congregation of Calvin Reformed Church of So. Norwalk, Connecticut. Donations have been made to the Food Bank (Christian Community Action), the Norwalk (CT) Emergency Shelter’s Manna House, and to the Salvation Army. Members and friends of our branch are encouraged to join us in continuing the tradition of collecting food for the needy all-year long. Chicago, Indiana Welcome New Member We are pleased to welcome Emily Azhari to the HRFA. Emily, daughter of Hani and Linda Azhari, was bom on Emily Azhari May 15, 2002. We very grateful to her grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Homyak, for signing up little Emily with us. God’s richest blessings on Emily and her family. Akire büszkék vagyunk! Osztályunk tagja, More R. Nicholas, 21 éves fiatalember. A középiskola elvégzése után hűtés-, fütés- és vízvezeték-szerelést tanult. 2001. szeptember 11. döbbenetes eseményeinek hatására, valamint az édesapja nyomdokait követve, engedett a “szép” katonatörténeteknek, s önkéntes szolgálatra jelentkezett az Egyesült Államok hadseregébe, a páncélos erőkhöz. 2002 januárjában vonult be Fort Knox, Kentuckyba. Megkapta a kiképzést és május 10-én végzett. Jelenleg Fort Stewarton, Georgia államban szolgál. Beosztása, mint egyike a 4 tagból álló páncélos osztagnak, nagy bátorságot, elszántságot és akaraterőt igényel. A mai forrongó világban a katonaélet nem a szórakozások közé tartozik! A 62-es osztály büszke More R. Nicholasra az elért eddigi eredményeiért, s nagyon sok sikert kívánunk neki továbbra is.
