Page 6 TESTVÉRISÉG Introducing New Director of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America William A. Nicholas It is with much pleasure that we introduce our newest Director, William A. Nicholas. Bill was bom in Warren, Ohio, the oldest of six children of Alex and Sophia Nicholas, and graduated from Leavittsburg High School. He served on the Battleship New Jersey as a gunner’s mate during the Korean War. He attended Cameron A&M College in Oklahoma on a basketball and track scholarship. He also attended Youngstown & Kent State Universities in Ohio, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He and his beautiful wife Marge will celebrate their 43 rd wedding anniversary this December. They are the proud parents and grandparents of son Alex, daughter Victoria Lytle and five granddaughters. Bill taught for 44 years in public and private schools, and coached basketball, track, football and softball for 27 years. Bill and Marge are longtime dedicated workers for the HRFA, and Bill was honored as Fratemalist of the Year by the HRFA in 1996 at our National Convention. Bill says, “I am deeply honored to be a member of the Board of Directors. I look forward to working to the best of my ability to serve the HRFA.” We welcome the addition of his insight and experience.
