The grandparents are Ted and Charlene Bohizic. All family members are from Hyde Park, New York, except for the great-grandmother, Mary László Bohizic, who is from Ellwood City, Pa. We thank Barb Bohizic, our member, for introducing us to her family. Congratulations! We congratulate Donald L. Lambert III, member of our branch, for his achievement as a Blackhawk wrestler. Don is the son of Don and Debbie Lambert of Darlington, Pa. He is cur­rently in the 9th grade and has a 4.0 grade point average. He is a third-year wrestler and is coached by Dave Lehman, Joe Fabri and Mark Belftore. His record for 2001 /2002 was 29-4; he did not get pinned all season. He was 3rd in the Southside Tournament; won 1st places in Blackhawk and M.A.C. Tournaments. In the latter, he was also named most outstanding wrestler. He won the 4th place in the North Allegheny Tournament, where he also received the Tournament Directors Sportsmanship Award. Don was the team captain for the last two years. May God richly bless the lives of the children and their families. Annual Branch Meeting Director Joe Fabri opened the annual branch meeting on December 8, 2001 at 7 P.M. Branch Manager Peggy Fabri offered the opening prayer and read the Treasurer’s report. It was reported that during the year of 2001, shut-ins Ruth Billion, Edna Cree, Peg Wogan, Elizabeth Rezes, Rebecca Lentz, Ann Thompson, Alex Varady, and Mary Hetrick were visited. High school graduates Joe Rapoti and Ian Hrubanic were recognized. We discussed was the outcome of the fraternal activi­ties which were held during the past year, namely the an­nual branch picnic, the Christmas party, and the branch youth programs. This year, we are planning to commemo­rate March 15lh, participate in Join Hands Day on Satur­day, June 15, and hold a picnic as a fund raiser. We will also observe Flag Day. Officers elected were: Joseph Fabri, President; Josh Fleishman, Vice President; Renee Maldonato, Treasurer; and Kathy Kovács, Secretary. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M. We are very pleased to wel­come Emily Mischak, the new­est and youngest member of our branch. Emily was bom on August 9, 2000. She is the daughter of Karen and Tom Mischak and the granddaughter of Steven and Kati Mischak. Emily joins her brother Jack, her parents and grandparents as member of our fraternal society. Kossuth Club, East Chicago, Indiana A Northwest Indianai Kossuth Club a 2001-es gyűlését ezúttal is az immár hagyományos Mikulás esttel kötöttük egybe. Mint mindig, ünnepségünket az East Chicagói Holy Trinity templom termében tartottuk meg, amely hamar megtelt. Ezt az estét a szépszámú gyermekcsapat igen várta. Ami már szinte tradícióvá vált, ismét szerencsésen megkaptuk a chicagói baptista gyermekkórust, vezetőjével, Demeter Andrással együtt, akinek fivére hegedűn kísérte az énekeket. A műsor további eseménye volt Skerl Atya beszéde, melyben ismertette Szent Miklós életét, akinek az emlékére ünnepeljük a Mikulást. Majd Écsy Gyula barátunk lépett a porondra a Mikulás, (az amerikai Santa) szerepében, akit Keresztes Rudy kísért, ő pedig mint krampusz, felélénkítette a gyermekcsapatot. Kiosztott közöttük különböző szilveszteri zajcsináló szerszámokat és arany virgácsokat. Majd a Mikulás Mischák Kati segítségével szétosztotta a gyermekek között a várva-várt választékos aj ándékokat, amelyeket St. Nicholas Party at The Kossuth Club.
