THE BETHEN HOME SEARCHES FOR A CHAPLAIN

The Board of Directors of the Bethlen Home is pleased to announce the creation of a new pastoral care position at the Bethlen Home. The Pastoral Care Coordinator, or Chaplain, will be responsible for providing worship leadership and pastoral care to residents of the nursing home, the personal care home, and the retirement village. The Chaplain will also be one of the Bethlen Home’s representatives in the Ligonier Valley Church community and in the nation-wide American Hungarian Church community, helping local pastors coordinate home church ministries in the Bethlen Home setting, and helping foster strong ties between Bethlen Home and the supporting congregations.

Interested persons are invited to contact Rev. Imre A. Bertalan, Executive Director of the Bethlen Home, for information concerning the Chaplain’s call description. Rev. Bertalan can also provide information concerning the compensation package the Bethlen Home is prepared to offer. Feel free to call him at 724-238-6711. Pastors interested in applying are asked to submit a letter of application and a resume by Friday, September 28, 2001. All applications should be sent to the Bethlen Home, to the attention of Rev. Bertalan.

We thank God for His presence with the residents and staff of the Bethlen Home throughout our first 80 years. We ask now that He lead to Ligonier the person best suited for this important position of spiritual care giver. With full trust in Him, we await the response of our Christian colleagues and friends.

A BETHLEN OTTHON KÁPLÁNT KERES

A Bethlen Otthon Igazgató Tanácsa örömmel közli egy új lelkipásztori állás létrehozását a Bethlen Otthonban. Az új lelkipásztor vagy káplán felelős lesz az istentiszteletek vezetéséért és a lelki ápolásért úgy az ápoló otthon (nursing home) lakóinál, mint a személyi segítséget szolgáló otthon (personal care home) és a nyugdíjas falu (retirement village) lakói számára is. A káplán továbbá a Bethlen Otthon egyik képviselője lesz a Ligonier Valley egyházainál, valamint egész Amerikában a magyar egyházaknál, ahol támogatja a helyi lelkészeket a Bethlen Otthonnal való összehangolt egyházi szolgálatban, és segíti ápolni és erősíteni az összekötő kapcsolatot a Bethlen Otthon és a támogató egyházak között.

Akik szeretnének érdeklődni az új állás iránt, legyenek szívesek kapcsolatba lépni Nt. Bertalan A. Imrével, a Bethlen Otthon Igazgatójával a következő telefonszámon: 724- 238-6711.
