FRATERNITY Page 5 Christmas Greetings from the Bethlen Home Chapel of the Bethlen Home, Ligonier, Pennsylvania “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth and good will among people. ” Luke 2:14 The significance of Christ’s coming into this world is contained in the proclamation sung to the shepherds by the great army of heaven’s angels. Our Lord’s coming and His life among the men and women of this world truly did bring glory to God and peace to those men, women and children who have come to know Him. During the Advent-Christmas season, the residents and staff of the Bethlen Home give thanks to God for His grace and goodness as shown us in the birth of our Lord. We also take time to give thanks to God for you, the people who, throughout the year, give so much love and support to the Home’s ministry and mission. Construction of our new nursing care-assisted living facility will begin less than a year from now, and as this time nears, we ask for your ongoing prayers and your continued support. May the One who comes during the Christmas season fill your hearts with peace and good will. Walker, Administrator “Dicsőség a magasságban Istennek, és a földön békesség, és az emberekhez jóakarat. ” Lukács 2,14 A mennyei seregek pásztorokhoz intézett szózata hatalmasan hirdeti Krisztus földre szállásának jelentőségét: Azért jött az Embernek Fia, hogy a mennyben lakó Istennek dicsőség adassék és hogy a földön lakó ember szivében lakozást nyerjen az O békessége. Az előttünk levő adventi és karácsonyi ünnepkörben a Bethlen Otthon lakói, vezetői, munkásai hálát adnak először is Istennek az elmúló évben velünk közölt minden kegyelméért és áldásáért. Ugyanakkor hálát adnak az embereknek, az otthon barátainak, támogatóinak azért a szerétéiért, amellyel egész éven át támogatták a Bethlen Otthon szolgálatát. Most, amikor a nagy építkezési terv megvalósítása közeledik és reménységünk szerint egy éven belül megkezdődik, nagy szükségünk van az Otthon barátai imádságára és segítő szeretetére. Szívből kívánjuk, hogy O, akinek érkezése, jelenéte egyedüli tartalmát adja a karácsonyi ünneplésnek, töltse be a kedves olvasó szivét békességgel és jóakarattal: Oh, kedves vendég, nálam szállj!
