Margaret Pauli, Branch Manager, Acting Secretary Branch 259 - Los Angeles, California It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my dear friends, Bob and Betty Szabó. Betty was my Maid of Honor when I was married, and she died very unexpectedly just a few weeks after her husband. I attended her funeral services the day I had an appointment to visit her. Their two lovely daughters wrote beautiful eulogies in tribute to their parents, and I wanted to share them with you. Margaret Saltier, Branch Manager February 18, 2000 “Dear Friends and Family, We’d like to thank each and every one of you for attending our dear parents’ services. We appreciate your special efforts in being there with us, and for honoring their sweet memory. As their friends, we’re grateful for the love and friendships you shared with them over the years, and for making their lives so rich and meaningful. They loved each one of you and cherished every relationship, and we value your place in their lives and hearts. As our friends, we thank you for your words of sympathy, encouragement, and love, and so value your place in our lives and hearts. As you can imagine, we are in shock at having experienced such a tremendous loss so close together, however, we want you to know that we are comforted by the knowledge that they are now living in the house of the Lord - together - for eternity. We trust in Him fully, to sustain us and see us through this difficult time. We ask for your continued prayers over us and our families as we face the months ahead. We have been blessed, beyond words, to have had so many wonderful years with our dear parents. They have left us a legacy of love, hope and faith, and for that, we are so very grateful.” Lovingly, Robbie and Jim Scott/Sandy and Fred Clark Heather, Bobby and Jeremy/Conner and Caitlin Branches 259/379 - Los Angeles, Hollywood, California The delegate election meeting of grouped branches 259 and 379 was held on May 21,2000.
