They were married in St. Michael’s Hungarian Byzantine Catholic Church in Perth Amboy, N. J. by the late Rev. Albert Gajdos. Margaret and Michael are the parents of four children, Mrs. Kathleen Melanson of Metuchen, New Jersey, Dr. Robert Pauli of Edison, New Jersey, Mrs. Deborah Alexander of Benicia, California and Richard Pauli of Edison, New Jersey. They also have ten grandchildren: Laura, Kelly and Lisa Melanson; Kimberly and Erica Pauli; Nicole, Philip and Elizabeth Alexander; and Richard and Megan Pauli. A celebration hosted by their children and grandchildren was held on July 9, 2000 at Rutgers Eagleton Institute in New Brunswick, New Jersey, for family and friends. Father Basil Rakaczky, their pastor, also in attendance presented the couple with a Papal Blessing and a Proclamation. Michael and Margaret celebrated the actual day of their anniversary in Toledo, Ohio, while attending the Federation’s Convention.
