Page 20 TESTVÉRISÉG The success of the event also produced a successful financial return so that the Branch was able to donate a nice part of its revenue to a young, needy Hungarian family living in Washington, D.C. We thank Mr. Benedek for his gracious hospitality. We hope that his farm will remain the same for years to come, with its many acres of untouched land, its stables and horses. A beautiful piece of countryside such as the Benedek Farm is unfortunately becoming an infrequent sight in our highly urbanized society. We thank all the workers for their help and efforts, but most of all, for their wonderful fraternal spirit of cooperation without which we would not be able to have events similar to this. Thank you all again. The Organizing Committee of Branch 300 A good time was had by all at the Benedek Farm. Rev. Csaba Krasznai officiating at the service. The young Scouts saluting the mothers. Whiz Kids Alexander Kovács photographed with his project. Ten-year old Alexander Kovács, whose favorite subjects are physical education and recess, is like any other student. But he also has a gift for learning. Alexander is a fourth-grade gifted student at Tomoka, Florida, who enjoys being in the gifted program and says, “The one bad thing about the gifted class is that it’s only five days a week.” Alexander’s recent social studies project on the history of writing instruments made its way to the county social studies fair. The vast and rugged Benedek Farm is cherished by both young and old. Steven Major, Branch Manager (703)938-8087
