Page 12 TESTVÉRISÉG BRANCH 69 - COLUMBUS, OHIO The annual meeting of our branch was held January 17, 1999, following the English service at the Hungarian Reformed Church, Columbus, Ohio. The meeting had been originally planned for the 27th of December, but due to the severe weather, it had to be postponed. Vice President Janet Vegh opened the meeting. The secretary’s minutes were read and approved as was the treasurer’s report. Janet announced that the purpose of this meeting was to elect officers for 1999. The nominees, Janet Vegh for President; George Bockoras for Vice President, and Rose Komives for Secretary-Treasurer, were unanimously elected. Branch Manager Irma Camevale thanked everyone for attending and reported that she would be attending a meeting in Cleveland, Ohio, to acquaint herself with the products of the Catholic Knights of America with whom the Federation recently entered into a partnership alliance. She also spoke about the future plans for the Bethlen Home in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. Branch Manager Irma Camevale A good time was had by all at the annual meeting of Branch 69 Following the business portion of the meeting, Reverend Dobos, our supply pastor, offered grace at the beautiful and delicious luncheon provided by our branch manager. Next were games and bingo with nice prizes and gifts also from our branch manager. The hours spent in the wonderful atmosphere of sincere fraternalism made up for the bad weather that confined most of us to our homes. BRANCH 93 - WHARTON, OHIO Bemutatjuk osztályunk legfiatalabb tagját, Michael James Köbért, szüleivel. Ildikó régi tagja az Amerikai Magyar Református Egyesületnek. Édesapja, James L. Kober és nagyapja, Stephen Kiss pedig most lett tag. Michael James Kober a szent keresztségben 1998. október 11-én részesült a Szent Anna Templomban, Sola, Pennsylvaniában. Erre a szép alkalomra a 93-as osztály kezelője és családja is hivatalos volt. Részt is vettem feleségemmel, leányommal, Jolikával és vejemmel, Istvánnal a keresztelőn és utána a szeretetvendégségen.
