Page 4 TESTVÉRISÉG BETHLEN HOME STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE It gives me great pleasure to report on the progress being made in the Bethlen Home Strategic Planning process. In March, the firm of Perkins Eastman Architects of Pittsburgh, PA and New York, NY was hired to assist the Bethlen Home Strategic Planning Committee in preparing a comprehensive Master Plan for the Bethlen Home, its nursing care facility, its retirement village, all its other buildings and property. Perkins Eastman was selected from among four qualified firms. Our work together began on March 20, 1998. The Master Planning process is expected to take approximately seven months. It is the goal of our committee to have a comprehensive first draft of the Master Plan ready to present to all of the people who will attend the Labor Day week meetings in Ligonier this year. Cooperation and dedication among Strategic Planning Committee members continue to be high. The committee includes Dr. Richard W. Aros, President George Dózsa, Rev. Paul Kovács, Mr. László Lipoczky, Mr. Les Martin (Vice Chairperson), Rev. Nicholas Novak, Rev. István Nyeste (Secretary) and William B. Puskas, Jr., Esq. The committee members continue to seek input from all interested people. We are blessed by God with a wonderful treasure in the Bethlen Home. Committee members are confident that, under the guidance of God, the future character and program of the Bethlen Home will maintain our facility as a quality retirement location and as a national gathering place for Hungarian-American people of all ages. May all the glory achieved be attributed to the Lord! Rev. Imre A.
