Following the branch meeting, a post-Christmas party was held at the social hall of the Hungarian Reformed Church, Columbus, Ohio. The hall was beautifully decorated with holiday festive decorations. There were about 55 members and children present. Under the sponsorship and planning of Branch Manager Irma Carnevale, delicious food was served at the luncheon. Afterwards we all had a lot of fun dancing - after instructions from a video presentation - and playing games - bingo being the most popular, with many prizes to win. The party ended at 4:00 p.m. We all had a lovely afternoon in the true spirit of fratemalism. Our Branch sponsored a Snowflake Dance at the Veterans Fraternal Hall on Livingston Avenue. The orchestra was under the leadership of Joe Jerome from Cleveland, Ohio. Volunteers helped to decorate the hall with huge white snowflakes hanging from the ceiling. It was very impressive and beautifully done. The food was prepared by members and parents of juvenile members. There was also a pastry booth where delicious Hungarian pastries could be bought. National Secretary Endre Csornán and his wife Arlene were present at our dance. Mr. Csornán presented Mrs. Carnevale with a check of $100 which helped to defray some of the costs. Dancing started at 8:00 p.m. and lasted until midnight. Grownups and children all had a wonderful time. Rose Komives, Secretary-Treasurer
