FRATERNITY Page 5 FROM THE SECRETARY’S OFFICE I recently attended the Secretary’s section of the National Fraternal Congress of America in Ft. Myers, Florida on March 6-8, 1997. Among the several highly interesting topics discussed was the one that dealt with “shared successful sales marketing with focus on small fratemals.” I was part of a small round table discussion group which dealt with this topic. It was most educational and enlightening to hear how other fratemals cope with their marketing problems. The group shared its experiences and methods used by the fratemals in achieving the goals. I was most impressed by the spirit of fratemalism and the willingness to share the concerns of smaller fraternal benefit societies.
