FRATERNITY Page 25 BRANCH 80 - PERTH AMBOY, NJ The meeting was called to order following the Worship Service of the Magyar Reformed Church of Perth Amboy on April 28, 1996, 10:10 A.M. Reverend Torok opened the meeting with a prayer and instructed the Secretary to take count of the members present. The Secretary reported 22 members present. Branch President Reverend Torok informed the members that according to the By-Laws, at the second meeting, despite the number present, a quorum shall be accepted. Fie further explained that the reason for the meeting was to report on the branch activities and to elect two delegates to the Convention of the HRFA in September of this year. Elected were: Rev. Stefan M. Torok and Cecilia St. Miklosy, delegates; Theresa Drexler, first alternate; Cynthia Torok, second alternate; Gale King, third alternate. Reverend Torok expressed his thanks to those present and closed the meeting with a prayer, asking God’s richest blessings on the Federation and its work in the future. Cynthia Torok, Secretary BRANCH 84 and 100 - CHICAGO, IL The special election meeting of our branch was held at the Holy Trinity Hungarian Church Hall, Chicago, Indiana, on May 4, 1996. It was opened at 6:00 P.M. with a prayer. The Branch President welcomed the ten members present and stated that the main item on the agenda was the election of delegates and alternates to the 35th Convention of the HRFA. Elected were: Katherine Mischak, delegate; Maria Hegedűs, first alternate. Steve Mischak, Secretary BRANCH 85 - BROWNSVILLE, PA Special meeting of Branch 85 was held at the Calvin United Presbyterian Church, Brownsville, Pennsylvania, Sunday, April 28, 1996 at 2:00 P.M. Present were Clara V. Csikesz, Director, in the capacity of Official Observer, and branch members Irene Jalso, Alexander C. Jalso, Rev. Alexander Jalso, Joan L. (Sarkett) Naser, and Mrs. Joseph Sarkett. Anna Novak, Branch Manager, asked that her absence be excused due to her illness and that Reverend Jalso conduct the meeting. Reverend Jalso opened the meeting with a short prayer. He then said that the meeting was properly announced in the bulletin of the Calvin United Presbyterian Church, every Sunday since Easter, April 7. Several members of the branch were also contacted over the telephone and asked to attend this meeting. He explained that the purpose of this special meeting was to elect a delegate and alternate delegate to the convention and to make any suggestions to the upcoming convention in September and/or any changes concerning the By-Laws of the HRFA. Elected were: Alexander C. Jalso, delegate; Irene Jalso, alternate. The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 P.M. Alexander C. Jalso, Branch Secretary BRANCH 93 - WHARTON, NJ The delegate election meeting of Branch 93 was held at the Hungarian Presbyterian Church, Wharton, New Jersey, May 25, 1996 at 4:25 P.M. It was opened by Anikó Vajda, followed by a short prayer by Steve Vajda. Since five voting members were present, the quorum was met. Elected were: Steve Vajda, delegate; Anikó Vajda, first alternate; Jolán Vajda, second alternate. The meeting adjourned at 4:55 P.M. Jolán Vajda, Branch Secretary Hajdú Erika 12 éves, született 1984. július 4-én New Jersey államban. Édesapja idegsérülésekkel foglalkozó szakorvos, édesanyja számítógépes adatfeldolgozó. Erika az iskolában kitűnő tanuló. Pár nappal ezelőtt legmagasabb tanulmányi kitüntetésben részesült a “President’s Academic Achievement Award” elnyerésével. A tanulás mellett Erika az iskola tomacsapatában aktívan versenyzik és fúvószenekarában szaxofonon játszik. Szabadidejében balett és jazz órákra jár, szeret úszni, korcsolyázni, könyvet olvasni, és kalandtörténeteket írni. Szépen beszél és olvas magyarul. Nővére, édesapja és nagyszülője mind tagja az egyesületünknek. Erika további sikereket kívánunk neked és Isten gazdag áldását kérjük reád és az egész Hajdú családra.
