Next year the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America celebrates its 100th Anniversary. From humble beginnings 100 years ago, the HRFA has grown and prospered thanks to dedicated individuals who championed its high ideals. Our production contest is in effect since mid-summer. The 12-month period of the contest started July 1, 1995 and will end on June 30, 1996. The awards will be announced at the 1996-Convention. I am happy to report that the last two months were the most productive ones of the whole year. This year’s district meetings were held in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. The national officers gave reports of their respective departments. The president presented a general picture of the Federation’s standing. The secretary gave statistical information on claims, surrenders, matured and new applications. The constant training of our field force should be one of our goals. I also had the pleasure to attend the Presbyters’ Association meeting in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, representing the Federation and my church. Special thanks to Miklós Juhasz, past president of the Presbyters’ Association, for inviting the HRFA to the meeting. Miklós chose to resign as president, and Leslie Martin of Trenton, New Jersey, was elected to preside over the Presbyters’ Association. Congratulations and best wishes to Leslie! The Hungarian Reformed Federation of America is proud of your accomplishment. I am happy to report that in conjunction with our 100th Anniversary, the Board of Directors authorized the executive committee to offer an extra $3,000 whole life insurance up to age 70 to our members, no medical
