Page 16 TESTVÉRISÉG ez/tí BRANCH 1 - BRIDGEPORT, CT The yearly meeting of our branch was called to order by Mrs. Margaret Csuka at 10:55 A.M. on February 19, 1995 in the church office. Mrs. Csuka conducted the meeting since Mr. Koi was absent due to death in his family. Rev. Szilagyi led the group in prayer. Mrs. Csuka touched upon topics, such as direct billing, different insurance plans available, and the plan on a trip to Europe organized by the branch. As branch news: we had two weddings, four confirmations and six deceased members. In November 1994, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the First United Church of Christ in Bridgeport and also had our annual Hungarian Festival and dinner-dance. Officers elected for 1995 are: John Koi, President; Alexander Perigyi, Vice President; Robin Racz Peterson, Treasurer; Ella Racz, Secretary. There being no further business to report, the meeting adjourned at 1.1:40 A.M. Margaret Csuka, Branch Manager BRANCH 2 - CLEVELAND, OH The meeting was called to order by Branch Manager Julie Reitz at 2:45 P.M. on February 12, 1995. Rev. Frank Endrei offered the opening prayer. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Main order of business was the election of officers for 1995. Nominations were made and election followed. Elected were: Joseph A. Kovach, President; Susan Vizsolyi, Vice President; Ann Kovach, Secretary- Treasurer; Ed Szabó, Auditor. Due to suggestion from members, the offices of Secretary and Treasurer were combined and accepted by Ann Kovach. Activities for 1995 are confirmed as follows: May 7 - Card Party/Light Lunch: 1:00 P.M. at First Hungarian Reformed Church. July 26 - Summer Picnic to be held at the First Hungarian Reformed Church. December - Christmas Party - date to be confirmed later. Julie Reitz asks all members to notify her of any address changes of Federation members. Meeting was adjourned at 3:15 P.M. Rev. Endrei ended the meeting with a prayer. Ann Kovach, Secretary BRANCH 3 - FAIRPORT HARBOR, OH The meeting was held on February 12, 1995 at 12:30 P.M. It was opened with a prayer by Rev. Medgyesi. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Financial report was read and approved. A prayer was held for the departed members. It was reported that branch members visited the sick and shut- ins; Stacey Downing received a student aid check, and members who belong to the Women’s Fellowship organized a fund raising dinner each month. Officers elected for 1995 are: Rev. Louis Medgyesi, President; Louis J. Medgyesi, Vice President; James Varga, Treasurer; Elizabeth Ticel, Secretary. We discussed plans for a fund raiser dinner and a summer picnic to be held this summer. This year we will support a church project by means of a fund raiser, and we will continue to visit the sick and the shut-ins. The meeting adjourned at 1:30 P.M. with a prayer by Rev. Medgyesi. Betty Ticel, Secretary BRANCH 4 - CLEVELAND, OH The annual meeting was held on March 7, 1995. Branch Manager Jolán Abel opened the meeting. John Sedensky offered the opening prayer. Minutes and financial report were read and approved. It was reported that members of the branch regularly visited sick members, both at home and in hospitals.
