Page 22 TESTVÉRISÉG Deborah Walkoczy, Member of Br. 501: “Hello. I am one of the proud recipients of the HRFA-Student Aid benefit. I am currently a Sophmore attending Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. My major is Graphic Design, and upon graduation in 1995, I hope to work in an advertising firm. In addition to my interest in the visual arts, I have an ongoing concern with public service in my community. For over ten years I was active in the Girl Scouts where I received my Silver Award, and while in high school, I was a member of the Christian Social Action Club where I was able to perform various public services for my school and local community. While in college, I served one year as the vice-president of the English Society, and I currently work as a display artist at a local shop to help fund my education. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all those who made this scholarship possible. As we all know, the cost of higher education is on the rise, and it is organizations such as yours that help ease the cost for so many deserving students. For this I applaud you and thank you for this opportunity. I would like to especially thank Mrs. Margaret Pauli for recommending me for this honor. I would like all members of the HRFA know how much your contribution is appreciated by both myself and all future recipients.” Deborah was recommended by Margaret Pauli, Branch Manager Deborah Walkoczy Patricia Wasik, Member of Br. 15: “I wish to express my deepest gratitude to you for donating a scholarship to me. The money will surely help to offset the cost of a higher education. I have completed my first year of studies at West Penn School of Nursing pursuing my R.N. degree. Thank you once again for the support toward my education with this scholarship.” Patricia was recommended by Director Clara V. Csikesz Director Clara V.
